I searched the forums and couldn't find this one listed. I'm living in Tacoma, WA right now and it's been raining everyday for about 3.5 weeks now. I've noticed that my back seat, on the passenger side, is becoming wet. The wet spot is right where a passenger would sit, in back on the passenger side. Has anyone else had this prob? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
sunroof leak? rust on the roof somewere?
check your weatherstriping....whats model do you have????
What part of the seat is getting wet, the bottom or the backrest? Do you have a sunroof?
is it a sedan, try the top of the back window
If it's the bottom of the seat, suspect the trunk/hatch as well - water will leak into the back and into the spare tire and then dribble forward into the back seat. Look for the carpet in front of that seat getting wet as well.
Sorry for the late reply, but I couldn't access these forums for a couple days. Anyway...My car is an Lxi sedan with a sunroof. The leak is on the bottom of the seat right where you would plant your fat booty. I read all of your posts, and I'm going to check the sunroof and trunk area. I haven't looked in there before. Is there any certain special places to check, or any special proceedure to use? Thanks for all the help,
