Re: A New Hope ( Weber Wars , Episode 4 )
I have just installed a 34 dgec on my accord. Waiting on welding a throttle cable bracket then test drive. Ohh i removed a 32/ 36 dgev. I had installed this on a toyota truck for about 100 miles noticeably more powerful than the toyota i drove with the 32/36. I think i will do great on the accord. Will certainly let you know.
Re: A New Hope ( Weber Wars , Episode 4 )
hey man how has it gone with it. I seriously want to upgrade the fuel system and the carb on my accord for my birthday.
Re: A New Hope ( Weber Wars , Episode 4 )
Im looking at installing the 32/36 in my 87 accord LX...
What im wondering is.... What should my mileage/gallon be once completed?
Also Will I be able to pass my emissions here in the states? (Washington State)?
Thanks,
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

It would depend on the particular test. If they do a visual inspection you would almost certainly fail. If it's a tail pipe test only at idle you could probably pass. If it's a tail pipe test where they put it through a simulated road course on a dyno, you *might* be able to get it to pass if it's tuned well but the odds are not good.

Re: A New Hope ( Weber Wars , Episode 4 )
I just passed emissions with my 38 weber and 272 cam. So, it is possible to pass emissions with a weber. Here in Idaho we do a tailpipe test at idle, and at 2500rpm in neutral. I should also mention that I passed without having to mess with the timing or any of the mixture adjustments. Just the same tune I run all the time.

hmm... i didnt think a weber wOuld pass...

It passes but in a state that does full inspections it would fail like cygnus says. Here we only check for a cat and a gas cap. I was honestly surprised that it passed with the cam in it.
Re: A New Hope ( Weber Wars , Episode 4 )
I got the 32/36 kit from redline for my 89 honda accord. I dyno tuned it and if you keep your foot out of it I get on avg of 32.9 miles to gallen in town. Have not clocked freeway, with a good tune and on 92 pump gas you can get good mpg. If you have a heavy foot you can kiss it good bye lol. But a weber can pass if its tuned top notch but mainly no they will not pass.
