Re: B series plugs in a20?
i would say as long as the electrode isnt going to be hitting the piston, then yeah it is really worth a try. i had imagined the holes threads were the same, so they are? anyway, i dont think its going to cause any problems, just as long as the clearance is good inside the combustion chamber.

Just order the plug you need online. The dealers listed do stock them. If you want 2 steps colder for lxi, you need heat range 8.
Re: B series plugs in a20?
you said the porcelain part is shorter? the spark will have too long of a distance to jump. the plug wont hit the piston, but you might have some problems with the spark reaching, if that makes any sense to you.

Reaching what? I'm confused by this.
Re: B series plugs in a20?
I agree with Steve, here... (Wierd, huh?) That's not really how spark plugs work... The heat range is a measure of how well the plug whicks the heat from the compustion chamber. Not how large the spark gap is.

This is true. With forced induction you want a colder plug so it doesnt get tooooo hot and detonate. Stock honda plugs are run pretty hot even for NA so 2 steps colder is practically a must for boost.
Re: B series plugs in a20?
i got some ngk iridium ix plugs, are these good for turbo?
Re: B series plugs in a20?
Depends on which ones they are. For an A20 turbo, you'd want the BPR7EIX or colder. I can get them, if anyone is interested. $40 for a set, shipped anywhere in the US.
