got my stuff to make my turbo manifold

i like to give a very special thankyour to aaron weir of weirtech for hooking me up.

i am making a custom turbo log manifold for a 2g dsm t25 turbo.

i got a a20a exhaust flange, two 90 degree elbows and two t fittings. the pipe is 1.5 inch diamiator. its way bigger thant the ports on the head flange. everythnig is top quaility.i am going to have to cut the t's really short since the middle runners are so close

What material is it? Just steel with a coating?

i belive one is stainless the other is mild, i dont rember what he told me and i really dont know my metals like that

Are you making the manifold yourself?... that exhaust flange piece looks really nice.

tchnicaly no since i am going to have to pay someone wo weld it for me. ill to all the mock up myself

dude, where did you get the materials, i have tons of access to a tig welder, bansaw, everthing, i could make a few of these or at leats one for myself. aha

i brought them form aaron weir of weirtech, but he no longer makes them. i got his last a20a flange. if you go to www.homemadeturbo.com there is two other people selling them, i just dont rember there names

i got everything form weirtech

when i talked to aaron, he implied that he'll make ANYTHING at all if you sent him the specs. this was back when 2old_honda had his DCOE manifolds made.

aaron is done, but he will send you to bmc, and they offer flanges and materials as well, but im not sure if they will build them for ya.

hey sq are those mc master elbows and t's? i have the same ones! gotta pick up a flange or two and turbo/wg flanges... :) good times!

Aaron quit making flanges? My bmc racing flange was hella nice BUT they were real slow. That looks like its gonna be an interesting build!

hopefully. i got this stuff to make a t25 log mani, it it works out i am gonna build a t3/t4 ram horn and upgrade

Probably mild steel for the head flange and stainless for the pipes.

Do your spark plugs still see the light of day with that flange?

hes basicly asking if you will be able to still change your plugs when that mani's all done, does the flange have relefes for the plugs to fit or no?

Yeah it looks like the holes for the plugs will be covered... you need room for the spark plug removal socket.

i dont think ill have a problem
