OK after all the work I have been putting into my loved 3g, it has to sadly go. I can't afford it anymore, especially since it's cost me over 3 grand to try to get it out of impound and it still isn't out yet. I have to sell it to help pay for the fines. It's an 88 LXi Hatch, Black with tan interior, 122K 5 speed, I don't remember the mods off hand, but when I get it out, I'll post pics, and a mod list. I'll probally be asking 2500-3000 not sure yet but yeah. I hate to get rid of it but I must.
why was it in impound??

If it's going to cost over $3k to get it out of impound just say F* the police and let them keep it. After long enough they should take ownership and sell it.

Thanks for the sympathy, I would really like to hang on to the car, but damn. I'm gonna try to keep it, and figure out what else I can get rid of, but yeah as it sits I owe 300 more then I can get it out on Friday! I read the police report today, and the officer said I was doing well over 25, and he quickly caught up to me...... well fucking DUH!!! The speed limit was 35, what a fucking cocksucker!!!! I spoke with the traffic seargent, and he's gonna try to get it out for me before Friday, fingers crossed.
