New Console

PIcs of the new console, bought off ebay, redone with leather from door panels as well, pretty happy!

yep, sure does. makes it a lot more comfortable to drive if you'd like to rest your arm some times. i love my armrest console. i'd never go back to not having one.

can you have one of these if you have a manual?

I want one, but I don't think they're worth $50. The junkyard probably charges like $5 or $10. And since it's been a while since I've been to a JY... well... I'm not buying one on ebay. :)

the only problem with that is that the only jy's here where you can walk in and take parts off are almost all Pick Your Part (name of place) and they all charge the same. i go, hide shit, and wait till the 50% off sales :D

lol! you are full of good advice arent you. Ya I did the ebay thing cuz im lazy and i know of two jy in my parts so, its summer im workin lots might as well get the stuff i want, but im pretty happy with it, once shes all good wouldnt mind a road trip, SF maybe....?

will one of these fit a 86 accord. Sorry probably a dumb question its because I am going to the junkyard either monday or tuesday (only days off) to look for a hood and it wouldn't be to bad to get one of these.

they fit all 3 geez from 86-89 dx, lx, lx-i and se-i

Wish the 2geez center console was like that. Mine is so cheezy. I can't believe that Honda would make something like that. Maybe it works fine for people in Japan, but when a 260lb guy leans on my armrest, it forms a huge crack in it.

The center console rules... both my 3g's have been se-i's so came stock with them, and I couldnt imagine it without one. And I won't dare sell my extra.

yeah it's definitely nice.. and it makes the car look more modern and luxurious rather than just two plain bucket seats with a big gap between them

my car came with one....but it had a crappy alligator stain on it....didnt it frantik lol
