Advice Plz On Paint And Stuff...

i have some questions if u could help me....

Im considering a paintjob for my silver 87 GL, and im also thinking of painting the bumpers silver too instead of black, but they are.nt steel ofcourse, so would they change colors after a while or smthin???

Im also thinking of instaling LED tail lights and rear flashers, as well as the front lower flasher, (like the 2006 Accord's), would they work? Cuz whenever i enter any shop, they tell me anything could work on any car, but i have some doubts though...
So can u help me guyz, i'd be grateful...

whats a GL?

painting plastic bumpers is all in the prep work on the bumper. it's perfectly possible as you can see by all he cars on the road with factory painted bumpers. you have to have a flex agent added to the paint that the bumper is painted with. any decent body shop knows this. if you want to do this yourself,just have the paint store mix a portion of the silver paint up with some flex agent. you can use this same paint o n mirrors and things like that also.

we care there's no such 3ed gen accord model as a gl, its eather dx,lx,lxi,sei,F1,and i think 2.0si no gl, also he asked a question he dident insult you or anything

now they did have a 79 honda accord 1800 gl but i have seen a 3rd gen

theres also the ex-i

and overdosed has a GF model, why not a GL?

well i could be wrong i dont think ive seen yet and if i have my bad, we need a historian to lay down some correct info

yeah there's all kinds of trims, ive seen GXL GX GF EXL and so on... but i dont remember a GL model though

then he must be confused...because if theres only GX and GF in New Zealand(i think thats where ur from? lol sorry) then there isnt any GL...

we had a subaru gl and I was going to get a 81 civic gl1500

so i would guess a GL is the same thing as a US 'DX'?

seems that way but it's a russian site so i don't know if that means the same thing in england.

i wonder how many different trims are on the 3gee.

i want 1 with a sunroof lol
