Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
Well I usually hang around on the Toyotanation forum, but I decided to join here since my daily driver is a 86 Accord. I also own a 1991 Toyota Pickup Project Truck and we have a 94 Accord EX. I do all my own work to every car I own, and wouldn't have it any other way. My daily driver though has over 373,000 miles on it and runs like a dream. Wonderful car, only a slight oil leak which I will be fixing very soon. Trying to get rid of the 18s also, and downsize to 14, 15, or 16 inchers. If anyone ever wants to meet or anything just pm me, I'm definitely down for meets. Also if you want to see some more pics, there are some of the Accord and of my Yota on my homepage here -> http://data.gsc.edu/home/47/924167347/default.htm CHeers.

Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
daaaaamn youre new and you already have a kick ass sig lmao.
anyway welcome to the forum dude. is your car dropped at all? it kinda seems so from the pic on the left in your sig. i havent checked out your pics yet but im just wondering. anyway, you will find a wealth of info here especially when it comes to fixing little things like oil leaks before they turn into big things. hopefully this site will get you to start to mod your car and the bug will bite you just like it did the rest of us. lol
enjoy your stay bud.

Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
:welcome: and your right about getting rid of those 18's, they just look to big for the car. Good luck with the oil leak.

Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
I'm just new to this forum..not the world. :) Also I'm a computer sciences major...so I have to have pretty pictures for a sig lol. Also love the car Monkey. XD It's cool I've been modding my cars and fixing things for years now. And actually I don't have a drop. Basically the suspension is shot. Want to go with some adjustables, but dont want to right now because...its just a beater. It has a couple of problems, but I'm working on them one at a time.
And to Legend....yeah I like the rims on the car, it is just I want something lighter, smaller, and more Japanese. The diameter of the rims is crazy. I'm riding on stocks right now because I just can't stand how underpowered my car feels with the rims on. I really want to try and find some mesh Enkeis like Monkey had on his car. I found some on a 280zx, but the bolt pattern was slightly different....such a shame, because they were in perfect condition.

Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
^Thanks for the comment on the sig, I love taking pics....and scrwing around with photoshop.
^^Yeah the oil leak is actually from the first owner going senile and driving the car through his yard and he bottomed the car out and knocked a dent on the oil pain right at the drain plug, so i can't beat it out. It only drops a little bit on to the exhaust..I'm getting a new oil pan and gasket within a couple of days, just have to find time to put it on.

Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
Yeah I've done about 3 oil pans to date, but this one I can already tell is gonna suck. Other cars have at least a little room to remove the pan....this one though, sheesh. Very tight space to work with, it looks like anyway.

Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
:welcome: to 3geez...your car looks clean for 373k. original paint?
-
Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!

Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
^ Yup, original paint. Unfortunately it's fading from the heat and the previous owner's non-caring state, and theres also quite a good bit of scratches, oxidation, etc.

Re: Toyota/Honda Fan New To This Forum!
as for oil leaks the most popular ones are oil filter adapter housing o ring, special shaped has to come from dealer or in a engine gasket set
and oil pump orings, and the oil separater thing black box that connects to oil pan, just the connections leak ,I dont think the actuall boxs leak unless they are worn out or full.
nice car for a beater, I like the toyotas too, most of them anyway. I would like a 85-6-7 fwd celica ragtop or not with a 1.6 in mint cond. I would trade off all my hondas for one of those, I have had seveal yotas over the years and sold them with nothing wrong with them.
