Suspension intact after engine/transmission pulled?

Yeah, I was wondering... If I pull the engine, with the transmission attached, will I still have steering capability? I assume the driveshafts will be pulled as well. If the steering rack stays, I should still be able to move/steer it, with a push, right?

If you reassemble the suspension after removing the axles then yes.

yep, just reattach tie rod ends and lower ball joints and you should be able to steer pretty well, especially without the weight of the engine and tranny.
