I want to do little experments i like to know can i install any turbo from junkyard used one?There are diffrent sizes of turbos with diffrent pressures so i like to know there are 2 oil lines in turbo and some other stuff so where the lines go in the engine?and like to know does turbo start all the time or on in one limit it goes on.please can any one explain me or send me the site how to install completly.for the carb engine and injection engine turbos are same or diffrent?
homemadeturbo.com is your answer. YOu have a lot of learning to do before you can even start on that project.
If you are going to stay with carb, you may want to figure out which setup you are going with. Suck through (carb before turbo) or blow through (carb after turbo).
as for the oil lines. one line will be high pressure, it is connected form the back on the engine where oil filter is. the other line is low pressure and it will be connected to the oil pan to drain the oil.
just start reading and website and do some search on this site. we have all your questions answered million times already.
not alot of carbs car can handle the turbo...you would need a fuel injection car to get more tune out of it with a OBD1 swap....pick up the turbo at the junkyard if it has no play....most of them you might have to rebuild...so save up the money and get your self a new one if you like.
ok i will do with fuel injection car i like to know i have seen lots of people put very big size turbos do they go by engine power or you can put anyturbo?there are lots of turbos with diffrent numbers so what that number means is it the size number?and if i install the turbo what else do i need to do with the engine and what i need to put extra in engine to work the turbo?
i say look at the people that have put turbos on cars...like 89turboed they have a nice write up.

Thanks alot guys and the site you give will help me alot i am not looking for my old 89 accord lol. i am looking car year for 92 till 2000 so Thanks alot for every thing and if its possable if you have any video site of how to bilt turbos that will be more great.
