All i want to know is if you need one of those one way check valves for your MAP sensor if you turbo... I tried to search and came up with nothing... And i tried HTM but they are down right now... if you dont want a cel the yes. It can be found much cheaper though and you can make one yourself also.
i guess youre going the btm, fmu, afc route? If so I highly suggest rethinking and going obd1 with a chipped ecu, gm map, dsm injectors. Youll get better bennefits than going the other route. Around here you can get your ecu chipped on the dyno to your setup for 400 total so look around.

I wouldnt use a checkvalve and an fmu unless you wanna blow your motor, and a 3 bar map sensor will only work with a chipped obd1 ecu or a standalone ecu. It depends how much boost you wanna run and how much money you have to spend. An safc and msd btm will work fine for low-med boost levels, and an obd1 conversion is even better

Ok well since epicenter is one of the only ones who stayed true to my question... Epicenter do you know how and where to hook it up in the system. And To everyone else, i know that OBD1 is the way to go but for low boost to start off with cheap management will work. I will worry about more boost later down the road. And Gauynabo89 you said i could possibly make a checkvalve myself, how would i do that if you know how? Also another thing i might want to mention is that i do have the 4th gen map hooked up right now. If you guys want to help i suggest sticking to my question not trying to sell me on anything else that you believe to be better or worse.....
it goes between the map sensor and the intake manfold in the vac hose to the sensor itself. I dont reccomend running anything less than an MSD BTM and a SAFC and upgraded injectors, even for low boost.

I have everything i need i think.... MSD 6AL box and coil, MSD BTM, SAFC 2, DSM injectors, Oil press gauge, Air Fuel ratio gauge, Boost gauge..., Adjustable FPR, Fuel press gauge, Adjustable cam gear, Intercooler. Thanks Epicenter... Anything else you think i need?
that air fuel ratio gauge is that wideband? If it is not wideband, put in th trash. It won't do anygood to you. Wideband is the best way to tune any car if you are going to do it yourself.
wideband is the way to go if you are going to tune yourself. You really dont need an adjustable fpr, the stock fpr is a 1:1 fpr. If you are going for over 200whp id reccomend a fuel pump upgrade
I only plan to run like 7 PSI and i am only looking for like 155-175 HP my first time around... Wideband O2 will run me like 200-300 buck right? And i don't really plan on tuning on my own, i would like to have it done profesionally. That alone should run like 4-500 bucks for a good tuner.
