Main page upgrade possibility???????

Alright guys hopefully this is the place to put this thread.

Now

Why dont we, or cant we put sort of a slideshow at the top of the main board with some of the members cars? Kinda putting our best foot forward without having to go looking through the pics section to see what can be done to these cars.

Other sites have this type of slideshow at the tops of their forums and I thought maybe we should try to incorporate this into 3geez. Im not familiar with any of the things required to set that up but if its fairly easy for someone to do here on the board why not.

In the Accord of the year threads there are plenty of good pictures of alot of members cars. I figure you could get like 20-25 good pictures of accords that could alternate.

What do yall think?

I like your sig too that could be one of the pictures.

its obvious that its fairly stock exterior wise with steelies and what not but thats a good picture and your car looks great in it.

Well that was a few months ago, some things have changed on my car, I now have new wheels and tires, repainted bumpers/corner lights, and a magnaflow cat-back exhaust system that i just recently got. (pics tomorrow). you can see the updated pics here https://www.3geez.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57969) if you want. :) sorry for the thread jack, but yeah, Id love to see this happen!

yes, but you can count the number on your hands, of those that should go up. i personally wouldnt want to see rusty blue/tan/maroon accords or stock being/looking accords, it would put a bad taste in my mouth before i even began... You want to put your BEST foot forward, when you're trying to attract "civic" people (who didn't start off here) and the like.

mainly MOST of the people in this thread plus like bullard123, oldschoolswap and wickedaccord.

Just an opinion as a non-Accord owner. My opinoin isnt biased because I have nothing to gain from the decision.

actually thats why i said to look through all the accord of the year nominees threads. (all 3)

there are some great pictures in there. plus someone with some good fotoshop skills could touch em up the right way like money did with catalyst sig pic.

I don't know how to do it offhand, but I will search around and see if there is a vbulletin hack to allow random images from the Garage to be shown on the top of the page.
