Hi guys,
I wasn't sure how I should get in touch with you about this. I've posted an assignment I did for my Media Tech. class in the Off Topic section. We had to do a mag cover for the assignment. When I posted my work I did here at home, I was told I should've used a 3G. This I agree with, and it got me thinking. I'd like to do a magazine cover using some of the AOMs with the AOY as the cover shot. I wasn't sure who exactly I had to ask about this, and it's really only for fun anyway. I have no plans to try and sell it, if anyone would be curious about that. I would just post it up here for the other members to check out. I don't claim to be a pro and it'll probably take a few tries to really get a nice look. If I need to get in touch with each AOM and AOY then I can if necessary. Honestly, I just wanna do this for fun and to give the members a kick about getting a "magazine cover" to their name and car. I'm open to any opinions that you all have.

Do it up like it's a published "3Geez" magazine if that'll be allowed. That would be hot.

maybe if i can put together a mock-up, then it could be clearer. i'll check my pics for a decent "cover shot". i'll work on it this week.

just make sure you contact the AOM or AOY to get permission to use their pictures.

Interesting idea

This goes along with the recent suggestion for the forum opening page that there be a slide show of some sig pics, or AOM's.

This idea have been in mi head for a long time... I think we have some reporters or jurnalist here. So we can do a mouthly magazene 3Geez and sell it on our forum, they who want this magazine will order abonent fo 12 isues of the year. Then send it to all members around the world.
We go have alot of reserchers here who can help in finding materials for our cars. Then maybe it will be easyer to get some companyes to do moods for us, if they see how big and determent we are. I mean like CamGears, DC - strutsbar, CamAxels, Brackes, CF-hoods, more bodeykits. and so on & on...

let me do up a rough mock-up so i can get ideas from everyone on layout issues. i'll use one of my old shots for the cover and put on some "articles".

you're not gonna believe this, but all my pics of my car are gone. that sucks really bad, i don't remember when they got deleted. i can't think of anywhere i may have posted them so i could get a copy back. would someone be willing to let me use a pic of their car for this mock-up? if so let me know and i'll get my e-mail address to you. i can't think of what my password and all would be for that cardomain page i have. it's been forever since i've been there, crap. sorry fellas. let me see what i can do.

ok, remember this is a very rough mock-up. i'm leaving room for improvements and of course, better pics. i'm wishing i'd gotten better pics of my car, especially with my new cam.

it just looks a little unappealing. mostly because of the text. it's just a little plain imo.

Keep it up! Try to do some clever blurbs as well.
