I'm pretty sure that in fact, the B20A had 145 hp from the beggining. Differerent SAE measurements maybe. Even the 1.8 dual carb has it's power lowered. Compression ratio related?
That's funny how the rear seatbelts are only 2 points instead of the 3 points we have here.

Previously I have questioned this too but I believe it was Lok that stated that there was no difference between theirs and our methods of measuring the power output.
The goldtops are also rated at 160hp at different rpm's than what this blacktop supposedly makes 145hp at.
But there is one way to find out for sure. You guys in NZ can take your stock Si's to the dyno. Steve_Si with his goldtop and Overdosed (godzilla :P ) with his blacktop. Go go go! :)
