making alcolhol fuel from the mother earth news 1980

hey check this out,it seems to actually work, this was from the mother earth news in 1980. and was tested and proven on a 1978 cvcc civic. i bet mythbusters missed this one. only thing different other then making it more permanent,would be to put some kind of filter on the air inlet side.
