Re: Finally progress is being made, bonnet respray
cool
what happend to the cool lude bumper would have looked awesome if u painted the lude bumper flat black
Re: Finally progress is being made, bonnet respray
Its getting a treatment as well, what your looking at is my "warrent of fitness" bumper, that lude pic has the bumper held in by cable ties, some wof places object to that.
Re: Finally progress is being made, bonnet respray
ahhaha did you steal that trolly? lol and yeah i hate them wof people :thumbdn:
Re: Finally progress is being made, bonnet respray
No i most certainly did not steal that trolley, i have every intent of returning it, i may even give it a lick of paint too.

UPDATE,
Finally ive had a day of little wind, so things are moving again, albiet slowly,
heres my half assed wet sanding, involving a running hose and sandpaper :O

i took a close up while it was drying, but theres not alot to see

Now once all the water had evap'd i took this pic of it dry and semi- shiney looking

First coat of paint, applied in a carefully haphazard manner Yea, it really looks shitty from this angle, i havnt done anything but apply the paint, and am leaving it to dry, before i do another rough sanding to take out the crappiest bits.

If nothing else, its all a matter of where you look from at the moment

To do, rough sand the first color coat back to remove any really bad flaws, then 2nd coat, lightly sand everything perfect from there, then 3rd coat, and hopefully perfect, ish.
