B20A Cold Revlimiter
any other B20A owners had this problem when the cars cold and you rev it it seems to revlimit around 4500rpm. while you not moving. This is a good feature, but ive noticed that it could also be something to do with the vehicle speed sensor, as my car doesnt have one and it revs right out when cold. But our racer prelude and alexs prelude both seem to revlit at 4500rpm when cold. Also my other mates red prelude doesnt revlimit when cold, and its had its over 100km/h beeper removed... Anyone have any ideas about this.. it it a prelude thing that requires the car to be moving in order to rev it over 4500rpm when the engine is still on its cold start idle?

Re: B20A Cold Revlimiter
i notice our '02 accord wont rev past 5500 rpm when in park. possibly in neutral also when not moving. i'll have to see. but its a honda thing i think because i've noticed they do that many times.

Re: B20A Cold Revlimiter
Hmm, I'm running a PK2 ECU so this may not be relevant but I never noticed the cold rev limit. I never go past 3k rpm when the car is cold ant it's not taken out in the winter so...
