stalling out at a stop

Okay, so my 89 LXi started stalling out when I came to a stop. Naturally, I decided to sure go home before I got stranded. I did notice the tach being jumpy and weird once the stalling out problem started along with general stuttering. I didn't make it home. As I made a right turn, the car stalled out and I tried to do a rolling start in neutral but to no avail. I used to moment to hork the wheel and pull into a parking alot. Again I tried to restart it; all it would do is crank. So I called the tow truck. I have all lights and power and the cranking sounds normal. What do you think this could be? In the past 5 months, I have a new PCV, EGR, Distro, Coil, and a new alternator and battery last week. The voltage regulator in the alternator was shitty so is it possible it overvolted and burned something out? I might suspect Main Relay which I haven't done yet, but it's like 30 degrees here and I was under the impression it would only give trouble during warm weather.

Oh yeah, and also have recent plugs, wires, cap, rotor , tw sensor, fuel filter by firewall, and injectors too. There is no CEL but the ECU is throwing code 1(primary oxygen sensor) which is on it's way to me as we speak. I don't see how that could be the culprit as I saw this code before tonight.

If its cranking I would look and see if you have spark. The tach needle jumpng around usually means the distributor going bad but since its new it is possible that your tach has gone bad.

is the rpm going down to low??

I think it was down low, btw, no injector click now.

Jump the main relay out there. a couple write ups here about it in the EFI section. Just do it as a test to see if its cutting the fuel or spark off.

Yeah, it was the Main Relay. I just didn't think the relay would cause it to not start at all even after enough time and in the cold.
