so yesterday around 6pm, yes 6pm, my car was stolen from a busy street out in front of one of my friends houses.
if anybody happens to be cruising Craigslist or Ebay and finds used turbo parts relating to my setup and it seems fishy PM me with a link.

that sucks, sounds like the west coast still has tons of cars getting jacked. Hope you catch em and get your car back!

so it car was found off of a 20ft embankment slammed into a tree...
what the cops think happend is that they were going around 80+ on this road on its way to get stripped and lost it on a corner, slammed it into a tree and ditched.

Fuck man.....at least you got your car back but dammit in the worst way... Since no one has asked yet...are all your parts in it yet? Like they didn't take anything after ditching the car?

motors ok as far as i could tell?... so today i talked to the insurance guy and he said the car is a total, he just has to get the official word form the appraiser, so i gave him allllll my receipts from the build and he seems to think that im still going to get low-balled on the car
but i did find out that
a. i can have (if i think the number is too low) another appraiser go look at it for a second opinion to possibly get a higher settlement
b. i cannot have the car back because of new policies involving total losses with my insurance company to cut down on people who have their cars jack so they can get insurance money and then put the parts back on the car to make them whole again...
thats where i sit now... waiting to get screwed by the man.
if i were you i woulda taken all my turbo shit outta there before the insurance saw it, put the stock stuff back, keep your setup, its yours

I hope you can recover all your "personal effects" out of the car, including all the boost gear and your stereo. I'm pretty sure you can take back your sound system in the event of a total loss, and I'd hope that you can weasel the rest of your goodies off too.
