Got another Honda! Prelude this time

Always end up with Hondas lol

This time around I chose a budget model Honda. Ever seen a 5th gen lude without a H22A?

JDM models came out like this:

Xi 2.2 F22B SOHC non-vtec
Si 2.2 F22B DOHC non-vtec
SiR 2.2 H22A
SiR S Spec H22A red top
SiR Type-S H22A red top + ATTS

I picked a Si model this time, seeing as I never use vtec much on my SiR wagon or the Torneo I used to have.

So it lacks the following specs that all USDM models have:
-Sun Roof
-Vtec
-5 stud wheels

But it has a few options that the Japanese liked to hold on to:
-Fog lights
-Climate Air Controls
-Electric folding mirrors

Anyway, it has done around 57k miles and is tidy as.

I never realised the car had a 4X114.3 stud pattern for the wheels. The Preludes we have here all have 5 studs.

Saw that beast on preludepower... I saw the 4 lug, and the F22B and I was all confused for second. Never knew they made one in that configuration!

Really clean though! Unique too because everybody and their mom has an H22 prelude! Not many have a DOHC F22!

Very sexy! We got some Preludes without an H22. We got some with H23 Non-VTEC. :-P

yeah very clean car...but didnt know they still came with the F series engine and 4 lugs....do they use the same chasis as the 4th gen?

Yeah I'm gonna try and track down a Type-S front lip next week. Got the week off work :D Will also try and find the sides and rear from any old 5th gen.

looked better with the stockies imo. but other than that, looking good and clean too. and that underhood shot was trippy for a second, lol. how much power does that engine churn out?
