Bu's New Acco Update Thread.. (no 56k)

Had to start a new one for the new accord...
Picked it up last nite in CT ...
Its an 89 LXi.. And don't have to many issues...
Problems:
Cracked windshield
cancer on both rear fenders
cancer on driverside "sideskirt"
front LBJ's are blown on both sides
Bald tires
Sunroof leaks
Driverside window needs a control module

And I think thats it...
I'ma start swappin over interior items today.. (ie, gauge cluster and bezel, Stereo system, {different sub box from current accord})
Saturday, Im gonna do the rear brakes, and suspension all around tires and sei rims...
Then, the windshield and get the car legal.. Then the motor swap...

I'm excited to have a 3gee I can drive again.. Although I was quite scared driving home last nite.. It's far from the subaru.. The tires suck and the stock suspension makes me feel like I'm driving a ship..
I really don't like the color and I'm not a big fan of the 4 doors.. But I'm happy..
I do love th black dash though!! And the sunroof! although it needs work..

When I swap the engine and suspension over, it definatly won't match color wise, but I"m not concerned about that.. As far as the body goes.. I'm gonna pain the bottome half of the car black after finishing all the rust removal..
And window tint is a must!

It has an armrest too! I thought they only came in the Sei?

arm rests were an option in late model lx-i's. Looks pretty good, other than the rust.

I swapped over the guage cluster this afternoon.. And was getting ready to start on the suspension.. But I lost all my motivation so I called it a day.. I'll get on it one of these days real soon.. lol.
