00 civic coilovers worked for me
no modification? just interchanged them?
He just used plain old 88-00 civic coilovers from Dropzone.

cause the stock struts will blow fats
also i had to add a 3" floor flange from home depot to make the rears sit right

What is your current suspension setup? There's really a lot of coilovers out there for our cars. EF Civic(88-91) also are direct fit. Ground control makes sleeve-type coilovers for the 3rd gen as well.Quote:

right now im just rollin on stock suspension with heated springs. no dead coils cut off. its ghetto, but it was cheap when i was 16, lol.
im just lookin for a cheap set of coilovers. doesnt have to be anything crazy good quality, yet, but i wanna get rid of the bounce, have adjustable ride height, and lower it some more.

90+ accord works, had them on my old coupe..
sleeves (like the pic codyJDM posted) slide over the strut and allow adjustability. they replace your springs. you can use pretty much any strut you like as long as the springs arent too stiff.Quote:
