I think the biggest thing with the J30 is how tall it is. There is a company that makes mounts to swap it into a 92-95 civic (Hasport) Tand they can't even think about using the stock hood. It would be neat to see it in a 3gee.

that's not a j30 in tim's car. that's a j35... way taller than the j30 even. anything is possible with time and money.
oh and with a j30 you can get the stock hood to close if you cut out webbing and pop the rear... but with the j35 forget about it... here's a pic of the car from the passenger door you can see how tall it really is.

oh and another note... i've seen a few people talk about hood clearance when it comes to motor swaps... if that's the least of the worries that's a great thing... cut a hole like people do for the k20 in an ef.
