Teh AccordB20A Engine Rebuild Thread.
Here you will see progress of my engine being rebuilt.

Currently i have the following parts ready to assemble:
P30 B16A2 Pistons Arrived Yesterday
Stock PK2 Rods from Accord Blacktop B20A
Rod and crank bearings are paid for and on their way from Japan. All OEM honda matched to crank/rods
block has been plained
I plan to send the block into the engine re-builders for them to assemble, they can hone the bores and change the wrist pin size so the b16 pistons can fit my rods.
The head is stock for now, Im thinking i may get new valve guides and stem seals and do a good valve grind and clean it and that should do. Gold top head of course for Moar Power!

im guessing only another 15hp over stock but a dyno will tell when its all running right and theres a dyno day local.

Nah tghe rods suck as they are from a b16a and have not been removed from the pistons yet.

are you going to do any balancing on the crank assembly?

those db cans full or empty( new or used )
that block is lookin clean, just hope it stays that way eh guv instead of lookin like mine

nope that costs too much, Stock bottom end is fine to 7k rpm anyways and i dont see it making any power past there anyway

i plan on cleaning the block more than that too its still oily even tho its been cleaned by the guys that plained it.
still trying to sell my other accord so i can actually get this damn swap on the road

but they are used, but in good condition i cleaned the fuck out of them cause they were black when i got them, Still need to locate some rings for them but ill get one of my contacts from the USA to obtain me some when i get paid
