NoLimitImports.com??? Anybody been there?

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the 2gee but I just need to rant for a second. I just signed up on the NoLimitImports.com forum and those guys are all freaking douche bags. I had somebody direct me to there because I was trying to track down an old friend who lives up in the Reno area and that forum is supposed to be for the northern Nevada area. He moved to Reno and I lost all of his contact info so I have no other way to find him. My post may have been a little lengthy (no longer than this one) but I was trying to be as descriptive as I could be because I thought it would help. I tried to track this same guy down on Preludepower.com but had no luck there. So anyway the guys on there went off on me and called me a fag, said I had cock on the brain, said my story was like "holy sleepless in seattle" and "Sounds like bad case of man love can't belive I just read that whole thing". That really pissed me off so I went off on all of them. I called them a bunch of juvenile ricers that talk shit for the sake of talking shit and that if this is how it's going to be on this forum, maybe I'll stick to the Preludepower, 3geez and Honda Tech forums where the "grown ups" hang out. I have never seen anybody here on 3geez treat anybody else with that level of disrespect. There is banter on here but it is usually done in a playful manner. I guess what it comes down to is that I wanted to thank all of you for being mature over the years and thanks for letting me vent.

Man that sucks about your experience, I'm glad you shared it so the rest of us can steer clear of that place.

I agree. I like how on here everybody has a genuine love for cars and aren't just on here to prove that their car is better than everybody else's. Get used to what? People being assholes? No thanks. I do have to admit, they all cooled it after I ripped on them. If I actually find my friend on there I will try to get him to come over here.

Honda Tech can be pretty lame too. I have to admit that there is a lot of good info on there but some of the people that go on there get off on flaming on other people. I have a friend that does this but he is an insane wealth of knowledge so most people unfortunately just put up with it.
