no problem, if anyone needs it i have the earlier square like looking one with the blue button that says AC, the button fits through the dash, i think it's early seventies.
Re: What have you guys done?
If you can get one new do it. I've fucked with mine until the cows come home, and tried two or three different buttons. Damn thing still sticks no matter what you do. I have disassembled and broken like 4 of them. :rocket: My new one now shorts out on "Flow" and causes me to lose my taillights and dash lights. Yes, that's right your taillights are on the same circuit as your dash lights.
Re: What have you guys done?
Mine is stuck, too. Luckily it's stuck to 'on' but that will suck come winter time when I'm running the heat.
Re: What have you guys done?
Shit, i had one in my 83 hatch, but I ripped it out and tossed it after my dad mutilated the AC replacing an alternator.:flash:
I say buy the Ebay one.

I had this problem on my 84. My headlight switch went bad and only my headlights would come on, no taillights or dash lights. It was really fun at night because I couldn't see how fast I was going but fortunately my brake lights still worked. When I replaced the switch, everything worked again. So, anyway, I just checked with Vintage Parts and they don't have the switch. I would recommend going to your local Honda dealer and having them run a locator on that part number.
