ok well my accord has an electrical short somewhere that drains my battery and a fuel pump issue right now, so do you guys think replacing the engine completely will rid me of the issue? or how could i make sure to take care of the short? there are no lights that stay on in the car, ill park it at night and wake up with a dead battery
it sounds like short somewhere yes, there is only one way to find it is multimeter!! but its pain staking and long process, it might be easier to swap whole LOM in your car.
electrical has nothing to do with mechanical so your short is in the wires not the engine

Remove your 2000 watt subs and amp and buy another battery... or you could just replace the motor... just find one that comes with an alternator.

NO replaceing the engine will not fix thoes problems...
as for the draining battery it sounds like something is staying on and causeing it to go dead is it a 2door or 4door?
and as for the fuel pump how do you know its going out? could just be a cloged filter
checking the date today to see if its april first

i just had a thread in carolinahondas about some girl taking her accord to the shop and the mechanics telling her the problem was that her engine oil was leaking into her transmission... yeah figure that one out.

Theres is a slightly cheaper fix then replacing the motor. Unhook the battery every night.

do you have an amp for a stereo? if so is there a remote turn on wire that will turn the amp on only when the stereo is on? if no tthat could be your issue because the amp would be constantly on draining the battery
