It has been a point of discussion in the past. Gates (belts) says yes, most people that have worked on the motors here say no. My personal opinion is change the belt every 60k and then you don't have to worry about it.
broke 2 and no damage, lost has broke 1 with no damage , i belive pico bought his 88 with a broken one with no damage , another member recently broke one also with no damage
cuz im gettin a 87 accord lx 192000 miles in great shape needs some paint its carbed but for 500 its a good deal right
