JDM CA Accord + Aerodeck Meet in Japan

This year Aerodeck owners in Japan have decided to have joint offline meeting with Sedan and Coupe owners. The location is near Mount Fuji and there are 8 Aerodecks, 2 Coupes, 2 Vigors, 1 Fixed light Sedan and 5 pop up light sedans. Most of them are the original owner of their car from brand new! It was my first time to see all of them, ah both cars and owners, but they are just bunch of nicest people - very peaceful indeed.

That is awesome i would have loved to seen them in person. As the years have passed I have been disappointed as many OEM and after market parts have been taken out of production. It will make my restoration harder but i am determined to have a nicely restored/modified 3rd gen before i get another project car.

Yeah, it was like toyshop, very busy speaking to people without lunch!
Shortage of OEM parts is becoming a big problem in Japan, too. Especially parts for B20A and plastic and rubber parts. Now people start looking for other route than keeping B20A as gasket and distributors are out. A20A seems to be still ok thanks to US mass production! Good luck finding good example - I bet you have good chance in US.

so is it supposed to be that the corners tint/age differently than the rest of the facia? Every set of corners is darker than the eyebrows and grill ends. Ive botten countless set of grill ends and brows trying to keep them the same color. Its driving me nuts. Great looking car and Ive never wanted an aerodeck more. What a pretty clean lined car.

Yours are a hell-of-a-lot closer than those are. You can barely tell (in the shade of your garage :)).

Joay, yes they are all in good condition and the white coupe just came out from full spray looking like brand new.

start1k, one of member has mugen coils and actually it make his car higher than normal. He loves off road so no problem.

I'm sooooooo envious of all those Aero's. I've wanted one for damn near 10 years and everytime I get close to getting one, something (usually financial) falls through. I will own one one day though.

Mark, you must be talking about YK86. Yes our short names are the same but we are different individual - I live in UK. "Yasu" is Japanese short name like "Tom" for Thomas or Thomason, our real name start with Yasu but long names are different. Hope it make sense. Thanks for your compliment. Yes, it isn't easy to ship car over. I had a chance to get hold of a Japanese Aerodeck with B20A and Mazda RX8 for free but again, the shipping and modification to local reguration cost a lot and I had no choice than giving up. Want money!! :D
