Spark plug question.
Alright so I pulled my old NGK V-Power's today and noticed that they were covered in black soot (fuel related problem yes?)
Anyway I was just wondering what I should start checking first to correct the problem..
I was running with the float bowl adjusted, so more fuel was going into my carb (maybe the problem?)
The idle was raised to 1000rpm in D, and 1300 rpm in P or N (No idea if that matters)
Or maybe the fact I've flipped the carb. lid?
It's an automatic, a20a1, carburated 88' LX..
Old plugs are less than half a year old, maybe less.. (March I believe)
But I turned the float bowl screw back down, lowered the idle, and replaced the plugs..

Re: Spark plug question.
Running rich, might want to consider a webber conversion. The carb guys should chime in soon.

Re: Spark plug question.
the high idle deff wasnt helpping, should be able to idle it at around 650 once its warmed up. if you cant then check for some vac leaks. webber swap really isnt a bad idea for the price these days there so much easyer to tune
