Ive had my 3g for 1 year now and i still dont know what this does. Is it supposed to go all the way up and down? mine does all the way up and halfway down.

AC. makes cold or ambient air come through the vents...i believe
yea one arrow is blue and the other is white. But how is it supposed to move? all the way down? or half way?
all the way down it tells you in your owners manual
blue means.. MAX AC white means ambient air...in my car when the AC button was on it mixed with the ambient air... :-/
If you have your heater on, you can flip that lever up and the air coming out of the center vent will be cooler than the side vents.
Yeah, it brings cold air on the center vents even if you have the heater on.
It's a cable, so it may be kinked or something. I can send you a picture with the vents and switch removed, if you'd like, to show you the brains.
