4 gee rear strut will it work on my 3 gee?

I went to the yard today and found a set of tokikos on a 4 gee can dey fit my 3 gee? :idea:

IIRC, they lift the rear end by about an inch.

A cheapie from Rock auto is $18.44. That's not a lot more than a potentially blown strut from the junkyard.

I want to shed some light on this, I tried this with 3 different bars, and none of them worked. they were all too short. And IMHO strut bars dont do shit. Unless your really tracking the car and actually getting grip it may flex a little, but the way the strut towers are on the 3 geez and a lot of cars tehy are so close to the firewall, and rear seat that they don't flex. and the only one that would do anything is a triangulated one. if you notice a box still collapses unless you triangulate it.

Actually, he was talking about the struts themselves, not strut bars.
