Transmission rebuild

So, in the next week or so, I'm going to be tearing down my wrecked 87 accord. I'm going to be saving some stuff, and I'm taking a transmission class. I wanted to rebuild the transmission and I'm wondering one which rebuild kit I should buy and then if anyone has detailed schematics of parts and order of disassembly and reassembly etc etc. I have access to Alldata but they don't really have much info and my chilton isn't helping. Any help superrrr appreciated

The Transtar rebuild kits are pretty good and relatively cheap.
