Name Some OEM Honda Part's You've had issues getting
I Might be placing a order from the Honda Dealer I've had good luck with, So I wanted to find out some parts you guys have been trying to get from your Local Dealers but haven't had luck with.
So Far Parts I'm trying to find out if they have any inventory:
For 1986-1989 Accords
Power Steering Res For 3G
The Thing the keeps the hood prop from falling out
the thing that holds the hood prop
Round Valet Key Blanks
For 1976-1981 Accords
Plastic Head Master Keys
So Post up any parts you've been trying to get from a Honda Dealer and haven't had luck with and I'll see If I can get lucky :D

Re: Name Some OEM Honda Part's You've had issues getting
I'm looking for the P/S reservoir, but I think you already know that. I have purchased the prop rod grommet and clips from Majestic, but it's been a while. I try to keep a short list of small, cheap parts so when I order from Majestic I can maximize my shipping and handling value. I have a spare hood prop clip. I have replaced my grommet about three times in the life of the car.

Re: Name Some OEM Honda Part's You've had issues getting
I'd be interested in the valet keys

Re: Name Some OEM Honda Part's You've had issues getting
I think to find a valet key blank you'd have to find a dusty box at a dealer somewhere. I did a half-assed search a few years ago and came up ..... blank.
-
Re: Name Some OEM Honda Part's You've had issues getting
Well this last order of blanks I got the box was super dusty so I'm hoping I get lucky :D
This last time I also ordered some of the 1990-1997 Accord Blanks, but the 3g blanks outsell them 8 To 1 lol
For N00B's The Round headed keys are the Valet

$88 bucks huh?
I'm gonna ask somebody who works at a Honda dealership how much he could get it for using his discount.
If he can't get it, I'll let you know
also do you know the part number?

Re: Name Some OEM Honda Part's You've had issues getting
You can use the prop holder from a 4g. It works great. I epoxied my broken prop grommet in and so far it's doing great too. See if you can get the plastic brake light section that covers the coupe trunks (license plate mounts in it). Mine is broken and I just can't find one that isn't a million times worse in the junkyard.

Re: Name Some OEM Honda Part's You've had issues getting
I had trouble getting shifter parts, most are discontinued, I was told I got the last bottom boot gasket in the world, oh and the metal piece that covers the rear shifter bushing, it's long since discontinued and the steel inserts that go in the bushing are gone, don't lose those parts.

If your talking about #9 http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/hpa/i.../33/975548.png Then I see it for $110 33701-SG7-A02
Part 8 is the whole housing and all the gaskets and wiring and all that and it lists for $147 when I get my first email back with the parts I requested on my first post I'll ask

What About Washer Nozzles?
-
Re: Name Some OEM Honda Part's You've had issues getting
Honda has washer nozzle but they're like $40 a piece or some ridiculous price.
I have a problem finding replacement belt buckles in red. All of the Honda dealers here only carry coupe interior parts in SE-i black (seriously).

yea I thought that, but the guys up at autozone, o'ry, and advance said what they had was not "oil resistant" so I got a bit confused. This is my first time this far under a car so I didn't want to chance it.
But thanks, I'll go by the off road store here, they carry all sorts of that stuff. XD its a awesome store I might take pictures of just that and share it.
