88 accord lxi speaker diffuculty

so the speakers in my car only work for the right side and not the left side. ive tried moving the balance to the center then all the way to the left but still no sound comes out of the speaker. I have also recently change the speakers to see if that would help but still nothing.

did you check behind the stereo to see if they are connected? or you using a stock radio?

It's a stock radio. and yes the stereo is connected because sometimes if a go over a bump the left side starts working for a little bit.
