so i can use the 1.6 flywheel on my 2.0,and what model should i buy the clutch for.
1.8 my bad
you have to use the 1.8 clutch. If you use the 2.0, it will not mate with the flywheel
Can I use the tranny from an '87 2.0si?

Yes, and you can use you clutch and flywheel with the Si trans. Its lower gears are slightly taller then the 1.8's and the flywheel is slightly heavier, but its still an improvement over the accord trans.

Excellent! I know what my plans are (hopefully) before the end of the month. I just ordered my new clutch, so seeing that the tranny is gonna be off anyhow, why not swap it. :)

Heh, fear my 1,000 HP intake! LOL!
It's actually a Stage 2 clutch from Unorthodox Racing. 100% kevlar disc. I ended up paying 149.99 + 8 dollars in shipping.

Don't get the 1.8 lude tranny it will not work unless you get the lude axles and hubs. I tried the 1.8 lude swap and it is a waste of money unless it is your only option.
Here is what I had to do to get close to working.
With the 1.8 I had to grid some to get clearence around the preasure plate. Then I had to use the the accord differental so the axles would fit. Then I had to use the accord main shaft and counter shaft so the they would match up with the diff. That means you have to use the accord shift rod and accord gear case. Then I found out that everything binds up cause the different gear thickness, the lude gears don't sit right on the accord shafts. WASTE OF TIME.
The best thing to do is get the 85-87 Si tranny, it will bolt right up no problem.
You know all you had to do was swap the ring gears to keep the lude shafts and fd, the whole point of doing the swap anyway. The again, if the accord shafts fit you had an 86 or later trans and it didn't have the lower final drive anyway.
