Last week my car wouldn't start after searching and talking to different people we narrowed it down to a problem with spark. I changed the rotor and the car fired right up. The contacts in the dist. cap didn't look to be in the best shape so I figured might as well change it too. Put the new cap on and now it won't start. Any ideas?
never mind I had the firing order wrong
ok now I have a real problem. car ran great sunday night and monday morning on the way to work. Left work monday started right up, had to stop at lowes and get a few things when I went to leave it would not start. the car will crank but not turn over. I made sure all the plug wires were tight, spoke to a friend who is a mechanic he said it could be the ignition coil. I changed that still nothing.
