Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
the other project car is on the back burner until i get my garage up and running. but for now i wanted to get another 3g for a daily driver when i dont have the kids with me. i found a pretty clean 89 LX-I coupe. hopefully if all goes well i can pick it up tomorrow. over the week i found a 90 integra parts car that ran good that i was able to salvage the complete OBD-0 swap from. paid $300 for the car, took the swap out, and junked the shell and got $150 back, not bad. i want to run this set up OBD-0 so i can get some practice doing some tuning on turbo edit. i do have another b20b P8r setup that i am building for an OBD-1 E85 setup. i will convert over to hydro transmission and all.
here are some pics for the mean time

Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
Looks like a fun project, I'd personally upgrade to obd1. Does the ecu plug directly into the harness under the drivers seat?
Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
I'm with Legend_master on the obd1 swap. I think he be should be find with the ecu most obd0 plugs are the same. he may have to re-pin hes plugs on the cars end of things. but will out soon. keep us posted
Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
like i said, when my b20bb motor is done ill upgrade the system to my obd1 set up. as o right now, i dont have the distributor, and i dont plan on buying one. yes the ecu is a direct plug in, there are just a few things that need to be addressed just like in the ond1 swap like ckp wires icm, iac ficv wiring. i actually have a spare lxi wire harness, i am going to make a tuck harness, eliminate some stuff and add the wires needed for the regular type distributor.
legend, are you on FB?
Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
Just seems like a lot of work to eventually upgrade to obd1. Either way, I'd be interested to see a b18 swapped with obd1. Yes I'm on Facebook, but I don't go to the 3geez page often.

Messy running a B18c obd1 swap in he's now https://www.3geez.com/forum/showthrea...Honda-s-B-swap. SQ you should talk to him. Ive talked in person about the swap cuz he tryed a b20 obd0 swap and it didn't workout so he went with the obd1 B18c. and hes car has been run fine every since.
Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread

Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread

Monterey green coupe with the center taillight in one piece. I call that a good buy! lol Other than rust in the back and broken rear view mirror, body looks pretty good.
Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
i have the rear mirror. i part with the rust looks like its replaceable. i am going to repaint the whole car another green anyways. i have the mirror in the garage. i already have an extra set of rear disc brakes. 1" master cylinder and brake booster, cross drilled rotors, stainless brake lines, armrest with cup holder. trying to find a red coupe to take all of the black interior from.
yeah, having your own tow truck comes in handy. i love it.
Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
decent sized truck too (Y)
Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
Looks like a fun little project! Keep up the updates! I'm jealous that you have your own tow truck!
Re: Turbo Vic's 3g OBD-0 B18A Swap Thread
Hey Victor, glad to see you're still at it! It's too bad your original hatch never made it out.
