I can get the Carb $60, Radio $25, $50 And center tail light section.
I'll look for a spoiler If I can find it $50, and then whatever shipping would be.

The carb is my #1 priority, it's absolute shit at the moment and because it idles at 2.5K until I rev it when its warm(it goes down to 8-900 when I do), it totally kills my gas. But if you can get the carb with low miles and doesn't need an overhaul, I'll take the carb and the radio in a USPS flat rate box, that is if they both fit in one. :P

That can be controls outside the carb so don't be surprised if even a new carb (oem) does the exact same thing.

Are you speaking of the Air to Fuel mixture controls?
The car starts fine at 800-1000k rpm. Seconds after start up, the revs slowly climb till it hits around 2.5k then when she's warm, and I rev her once, the rpm's drop to normal at 8-1K once again.

Hi there
Collecting a Honda Aerodeck Accord 1989 tomorrow that has the original radio cassette in if you're interested? Only problem being that i'm over in England and i believe you're over the pond?..
Re: List of needed parts for my 88
The idle issue sounds like a bad thermovalve, not a bad carb.
Re: List of needed parts for my 88
can it be adjusted or does it have to be replaced? I have no idea how to work on this CA5, let alone Carb'd engines. I looked up how much a thermovalve is, shows up as around $40. Sound right to you?

yeah, I think that the shipping would cost more than myself taking a ten trips to the junkyard. Thanks for the offer though, I appreciate it!
Re: List of needed parts for my 88
How cheap you need that transmission to be? I can get my hands on a couple of them. Is yours toast or you building this.
May want to do bearings in it and seals before you put one in though..

Not sure how much they're worth. Mine isn't toast but the best way I can explain the problem is this...
When parked or driving, when I move the shift lever to the right you hear a clunk, if I were to drag the lever up into fifth constantly moving it right while going up, you hear the same sound, when I go into reverse and do the same thing, it doesn't make a sound.
Another thing is, the head of the bolt on the filler hole is stripped and I don't want to risk trying to chisel at it to get a good and smooth surface to try and get a grip without having a secondary tranny in hand ready to be put in replacement in case the old tranny casing cracks.
I'll make a video of the noise of the gearbox when I get home and I'll post it here.
Re: List of needed parts for my 88
Hmmm. Thats interesting... May be hitting something under the car? Heat shield or something? But also if your trans was low on fluid the fifth geat (gear) goes bad because it loses fluid first and burns up. That could be the beginning of that. Or the bearing in the same respect.
Look forward to seing the vid tho.
