Alright guys I need some help. I plan on getting my car tinted and I was wondering what percentage I should get and what kind of tint?? I live in Mass. so if anyone has gotted tint in mass and has had any problems with the police please tell me why and what kind of tint that you had....thanks for all the help guys!!!:wave: :wave: :wave:
I don't know if this helps, but I know a kid going to school in Massachusetts who just got a ticket for having 35% tint on his car. I think the darkest allowed there is 35%, but the cop's device read 30% (windows withought tint aren't completely clear).
I got 20% all around tint, it looks good and i'ts not too dark, i've never gotten checked or questioned for it
I recomend 20 and no darker

Hmmm, I'd check w/ your locals man.
I got 15% all the way around and believe me, that's pretty dark, so dark I have a hard time seeing in the rear windshield in the dark! :D
I believe that 35% for the driver and passenger side is your max, just like here in Sarnia, Ontario Canada. The other windows can be whatever you want. But that's here so...

I would go w/ 20% for the back windows and 35% for the front
I got mine done for like 175 but the guy did a really good job
