recalls

I thought at one point there was a thread around here with all the recalls for our cars. I searched for it and didn't find anything. Would anyone have all of the recalls for the 1986 models?

I'd appreciate it.

there is a awebsite out there that has all the recalls. i dont have it, but search online.

There is one recall I know of for certain. I have owned my 89 since new so I would be notified of any recalls. The front seat belt buckles were subject to the largest recall in history about five years ago. If your buckles were good the dealer added black plastic sleeves around them. If the buckles were malfunctioning they were replaced. This recall affected many more vehicles than just Hondas as the seat belt maker makes belts for many Japanese and American cars.

Your local Honda dealer would be able to key in your VIN and see if your car was serviced under that recall.

dj99, that's a cool site. Thanks for the info. It did confirm that the seat belt recall was the only one affecting my car.
