Well the car is up and running, just waiting for the turbo to come back. As soon as i get it i am going back to the track.
you need a better light and an accusump, run a pressure warning switch off of the accusump so if it kicks in, you'll know it and have enough time to shut down the engine. what about an oil pressure switch set up to kill the engine? if it kills it on the track you just coast until you stop, but the engine lives.
thanks for the advice and all the stuff said is already being done. The moroso acculumator is on its way. My oil pressure and shift lite r going right in my line of site and not on the dash. The oil problem with it killing the engine you won't be able to start the car when you turn it off because there will be no pressure and it won't work. Thanks pal. I am also looking into an external pump to,actually i am saving up money for it right now.
I once did a F20A 4g SI swap in a 3G - fabricated mounts from MS steel, trimmed the RHS chassis leg for the tranny, trimmed rear cross member for the tranny bell, its the same dimensions as a H22 - when I got bored of it, I put a H22 head on it and swapped out the ECUs (as the harness was made by myself), I already put in the VTEC wires, revved like a motorcycle engine and went like a horse with wasabi on its nads.
If someone wants to use the stock 3G cluster with a H22 - get a GM or VW inline VSS - it runs off the speedo cable - you would need to cut the cable and fabricate two ends with knurled rings for it - hey presto VSS signal and original speedo working
Im so fkcn pumped about this car .
And when the light goes on dont pedal it to make sure its fkcd.. HAHA Would be some costly gas.
Dude you need to write to someone aobut this car or something . You could get some type of coverage. To bad 3 geez doesnt have its own tv station. I could anchor it. And roll and see everyones 3geez . And do some rebuilds too. damn im ripped
Well i haven't been on in awhile but here is the newest update. I got a factory pump modified and went to the track 2 or 3 week ago and the pump broke in the burnout. The acculumator did it job. I said screw it and mounted up an external oil pump on the car. It was alot of work but we made it work. I am going to post some pics and going to the track soon and hopefully have some vid.
wow awesome. I dont know many people that run an ext oil pump on hondas!
We are going to try to get the mags but i need some times and make it down the track will help. I got some old vids of a couple of runs.http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...th_1071run.jpghttp://i255.photobucket.com/albums/h...th_1061run.jpg

I am sorry but the upper pictures were a little big.
I like your lighting effects in the video. :)
Is that an external oil pump to feed the turbo?
EDIT Okay I read the thread. Yeah external pump. Sorry ha.
I went to the track on sat and off the trailer went 10.77@130 at 18,19 lbs. Ran into alittle problem but will fix to go again. The car sounds and feels great.

Glad to see you're getting the kinks worked out and getting some solid runs in at the track. Can't wait to see some proper vids!

at only 18lbs that is pretty good. what was the a20 running at it's peak 30ish??
Johnny...what is up with your friend Mike (the chassis fabricator) he doesn't answer the phone or emails.
i request pictures in track attire....meaning what it looks like with all the body pieces on and such
It ran 10.42 at it peak with the a20. I will get pics and video next time.
