i have the day before thanksgiving off if we could get some sort of mini meet or somethin going then *shrug*
if we do it in the springs i could do that.
or even that saturday?
I'm fine for a meet down in the springs, but i don't have enough money for gas to get there until probably december....
i cant do a meet that saturday, i dont get off work until 5:30, and i have to work the next day at 10. I wouldnt even get to the springs from here in brighton until 8:30-9, at a none speeding rate.
IF we have a meet towards the end of december in the springs, specifically the LAST week of december, i could do that, since i requested that whole week off.
last week of december sounds good, i don't have school at all, and i'll be working... however, it's christmas time, and i might be broke lol
LoL...Look who showed up. After the meet.LOL. Whats up turbo...couldn't make the last one eh? Just playin. We just all want to meet you budday!
Hm.... I'm definately game for a meet in December... it's not too much of a busy month, work-wise, and usually weekends are totally free. If any other 3G guys want a mini-meet here in the Springs before then, I'll plan on attending, definately. As far as travelling, I can do that as well; just got the T-belt, tuneup, and all that fun stuff done this weekend. However, one car's doing great, but the other's not... the GT-Four just got broken into _again_ yesterday... ergh. :hs:
Matt, I was thinkin the same thing. lol oh well.
December will probably work, but I'll not know for sure until 2 weeks before. Christmas time is the busiest time of the year where I work cuz everyone has to know why their cell phone bill has $803,431 in overages... And overtime is just flying around everywhere! Whoo-hoo!!
hey im a newbee here in the springs and id like to meet some more 3gee'ers, im sick and tired of hanging around with a bunch of ungreatfull ford and chevy drivers, they are starting to p*&& me off. got v-8 and think there gonna pick on me, eh i hate it, then they take my lane and hold me back.
well, as stated before, anyone and everyone is welcome to come to any meet we have.
it'd be great if these newbs showed up once in a while... like last meet. it was nice to meet a new member.
What days are good for you guys in general? friday's? saturdays?
I'd like to get a date set so i can plan to get off of work, get permission from parents, etc.
Yes, i know, i'm still at home :(
Being in HS sucks lol
it was nice to meet a new member Thanks for that racerx, It was good meeting all of you and I had a good time.:hs: I'm ready for other meeting, hopefully by that time I can have my rear disc set up done.
how about the garden of the gods in the springs?
saturdays (with some notice) and sundays are good for me.
during the day would be good for background pic's.
ooo that saturday wont work for me
i was thinking more like, wednesday or something?
im planning on going boarding mon, tues, meet weds, boarding thurs, home friday, and my family has some things going on that saturday
GOTG would be a good place, I'd think, for those reasons. Great photo-ops, decent amount of parking space, and fairly easy to access from the highway for those who're going to travel. The only other place I'd have a suggestion for might be Fargo's, over off of Circle and Platte, mainly because they'd have a place to grab some eats at during the meet. However, this could be easily rectified by a 'cruise' to any one of the loads of fast food places down the Garden of the Gods and Centennial area.Quote:

ah...so were planning on meeting down in the Springs this time...Fair enough. You guys always travel to D town. i guess its our turn...
haha yea, get 5th gear before then!
ill HELP you put a tranny in your car!
kuz if we are limited to 70 the whole way... its gonna be a long haul
Hehe... totally unrelated, but that does remind me of fun times. Last time I went to a car meet(Toyota SW20, ST165/185), I was in the 3G. Hilarious... cruising at a buck-ten up I-25 with a convoy of MR2s, a turbo Eclipse, and an NSX, in the 'ol Accord. I know any of those cars could have blown me away (I mean... 3SGTE vs A20A1?), but it was still fun as 'ell.
And, I wish I had the time to run up and help with the tranny swap... it's a pain, but it can be done. Hope to see you at the meet, though!
well he hasnt started yet... maybe getting left behind will give him some motivation :P
ive done it once, and i feel that now i know what to look for, and the problems that will be encoutered. I should be able to help get it done in 1-2 days. Took me/racerx 3, but we hit a few problems that we didnt know about until the 2nd day had passed, haha
yes, I can think of 2 major problems right off the bat... lol
Seriously, it shouldn't have taken us nearly that long. Just make sure you've got good impact wrenchs, a good lift, a good tranny lift, and all the right sockets. you could probably have it done in a day.
i think the hardest part was just getting the stupid tranny to align right, and that was only a problem because of those bent dowels.
so you might wanna buy some new ones first. could make your life a lot easier.
Ah yes...So, when is the meet anyway. I'm prolly hoping to get your assistance also Matt...He he ha ha...no really...that would be tits. I can go 100mph...high rms. But I can do it.
*sigh*
In the springs... wow that's a long drive, i'll see if i can afford to spare the gas and extra money to get down there, but i can't make any promises.
ill put myself in debt to go, i love the southern part of colorado
born and raised in Castle Rock, im probably gonna stop off there for awhile and bounce around too see whats goin on
