OK now thats sweet... Having a somewhat oldschool system in an oldschool car like ours gets 2 thumps up from me. Sony ES stuff was great, I have heard nothing but good things about it.

Personally, I won't buy any of the new Alpine stuff, cuz when they moved manufacturing to China, everything went downhill. Quality, specs, etc.

^^ ANd ya monkey I had heard that about sony's tvs... Thats why samsung is sweet. Its great quality stuff, and you don't pay as much as sony.... If only I could afford an HD LCD

The pioneer is mounted in the double din slot and is connected to an pioneer xm receiver, the power acoustik is plugged into an aux module for the pioneer and is mounted in the glove box.

yeah i know the thing..... dunno what it is there for but i found it the same way steve found it. but the speaker in it was fucked so i removed it. 2 of my accords came with them. a box and a small speaker with a tiny amplifier inside it that takes sound from the front speaker channels.. probably a stock subwoofer or some shit alltho it doesnt woof very well

no its bolted in the elec tape just cover the back of the cass adapter cuz i cut it out for the wires and eq to fit so with out the tape there its ugly as fuck

You should consider mounting it straight, and making plastic molds to cover up what the tape is covering up.

yeah i got it when it first came out and paid like 160 for it. its ok....trust me the pioneers have more options and it sounds clean....like i said the alpine is just a basic deck...my uncle has the 9847 and his is nicer

I have the Kenwood KDC-MP205. Bought it a year or so ago for the AUX in front input, so I can use my zune with it. Has worked great, no problems. Sounds awesome for the money. Bought it for $100.00.

I thought I already posted in this thread, but I will floss the audio.

I got;
2007 Pioneer DEH-5900IB... We sold them for about $240 at my shop, but I got it for $170 brand new.

Front stage: 6 1/2" Pioneer 3 ways... They are about 5 years old, and I think I am gonna replace them with either Crystals, Memphis, or Pioneer.

Rear stage: 6 1/2" Sony 3 ways... I hate Sony, but that was all I had left.

My Bass (as in Bass Man)

2 12" Mass Destruction Sidewinders. 250 watts RMS, handling roughly 480 watts RMS daily.
They are in a specially made 3.5 cu.ft. ported box tuned to roughly 34hz.

And for the amp... This was the only thing that I've ran for the past 5 years straight.
It's a Hifonics BX1000D. Rated at 1000watts RMS @ 1ohm @ 14.4volts. Last time I tested it, I was getting 916 watts RMS from it.

Lets just say I shake things.... A LOT of things.

I had this guy's little brother, the 6600... Very cool HU... Lasted a year before my remote wire got loose and shorted the face plate out. I also had the earlier version of the DEH-5900 and the knob broke off and it annoyed me. Good unit, though!

I'll probably just get a cheap Wal-mart cd player for $50, the one that lights up red & has detachable face. I think it's a Duraband. Real expensive radios are a magnet for someone to break into your car & piss you off.

the $49.99 Durabrand sounds pretty damn good for the price way better then stock i have one in my Legend and also had one in my 3g and my metro and my 2g haha but they all worked great for the price and you dont have to worry about anyone jacking them also put out pretty decent bass compaired to a stock deck and has AMP outputs :)

stock everything except the speakers were all replaced with lightning audio. they were an xmas gift from my sister. but they sound damn good, probably because rockford fosgate makes lightning audio. if not for my sister, id still be rocking what was left of the stock speakers.

I have the origional tape deck with a dollarstore tape/mp3 converter, but wait your gonna laugh... I have a 1,000 watt kenwood amp hooked up to 2 Memphis 10 inch subwoofers. I also have speakers i took from a junked dodge charger. I'll remind you my subs and amp are not installed untill i get a CD player but i would have the loudest tape deck around haha. :thumbup:

In dash dvd navi mp3 cd flip screen pushin 1000 watts to 2 6x9s and 2 5s(all 3 way speakers) and 2000 watts to 2 12s in the trunk. With 2 7" widescreens coming soon for the headrests. Full alarm system to go with it : )
And interior beat sensitive red glow with exterior solid red glow.
Only thing left is to get a high output alternator to keep up with the power draw

ok here we go with plans but i have as of right now 2 orion ols school hcca comp 10s in a custom 1.5 cu ft per sub box and i plan on getting the orion hcca 2500.1 amp i plan on running a 135 amp alt 1/0 wiring for hcca amp pioneer 6.5 components front and rear with a orion 600x4 amp for power to the mids and highs and a optima yellow cap witha power acoustik 4.3 inch single di cd/dvd and my original xbox (mp3 player) and hook up to my already installed in trunk lock hole rear view camera

in my coupe im still running the stock stereo...i just changed out the speakers with aftermarket ones

Well, I want to be different and I got a Dual XDM6820. Its super cheap and has good power, has an Aux, Cd, MP3 blah blah blah. I've had it in my truck and that got totaled then i just swapped it into my accord. Still running without a hitch for the past 2 years. :D

I also have Polk audio 6.5" in the front mostly for amazing clarity And
Audiobahn 6.5 in the back which look sexy btw.
In the trunk I have 2 10" Kenwood 1000watt subs in a ported box with a 1000watt kenwood amp powering them. All installed by me of course. :)
Stupid license plate rattles so much. At least its not too noticable when your inside the car. And not at all when driving.

I just got a Clarion CZ309 for mine. It does really nice once you figure all the features all out.

I'm running an Alpine DVA-7996 in my accord... And an Alpine IDA-X200 in my civic right now.

Got a DENON DCT-R1 not long ago though, probably going to put that in one of the cars soon though.
