Anyway, sweet looking car there. I really want to see how it looks once you cut and buff it. yeah we need to get a meet going on some time..but im glad you offered cause im really thinkin about those sprints.. i just need to get me some struts..

yup i wanted to do the top hat... but uh yes i did all the body work and painting myself.. well my dad and i.. we have a paint booth actually, it has climate controls and a full paint suite with oxygen.. :D

Offering help on any thread is great, but trying to sell someone something that they didn't even ask for, in a thread created and geared toward showing pics of someone's car, is not the place. That's what PM is for.

86 --> Clearly you're interested in making, and keeping your 3G looking good. That's very evident by this repaint, and the pride in posting up the pics. I wish I had the time and resources to do something like this too, and to make it look as good as you have already, nevermind what it'll look like after the cut&buff. If you are interested in a drop, and doing it right, check out the suspension section. Without going into detail, if you want those sprints, be prepared to drop a hefty sum of cash (north of $800) for a set of struts that are built to handle those safely and effectively. Not trying to discourage you in any way, just keeping it real with what to expect to spend.

I had a long post all typed out but theres no need to flog a dead horse. Tokicos and those sprints would be fine. Im living proof of a budget setup that MANY people have seen and can vouch for. If you need any help with anything 86 let me know.

As am I, GC's + Tokicos + top hat mod = ultimate win. Keeps the stiff, loses the "I feel like my car is about to shove its struts through its body" feeling. Relatively cheap too. Used to run Sprints on the Tokicos as well.

yeah alot of ppl have ran that set up..but still i just need something pretty cheap that will make my ride look good.. but i will just have to look around

Also i heads up, i know i just painted my car..but i decided to re do it... they just was not up to par with my standards.. it looks fine, just like it rolled out the factory, BUT it looked silver when it hit the sun light and thats not what i want so im going to tint the primer and spray a few more coats of the blue down and get it a bit darker.. :D so ill be doing that this weekend.

also im going to be painting my exterior side pillars black and putting my trim on. and doing my suspension when mushroom toy gets back with me about the springs.. :D

schweet... ...taking pics of a home paint job up close like that takes either ignorance (if someone doesn't know what a paint job is really supposed to look like) or cahones. You, my friend, have some mad painting skills, and that close-up shot proves it. Def post up pics once you respray it.

BUT i did paint my car this weekend and i just uncovered it.. and it looks SEX! i have the tops of my bumpers black also.. :D oh and my side pillars.. ballin' ill post pictures after work..

haha its cool, neither her or i have the cash to even make the trip, much less pay for paint and your time, just painters in my area SUCK, but painting that car should wait its paint is still really good, but when she lowers the car (next month or so) i have a feeling the front bumper is going to get drug a bit lol

took a hella long time.. i took the doors panels apart and cleaned the crap outta them then sprayed Duplicolor Plastic and Vinyl l on it. turned out real well.. but before i put the panels on.. i sprayed Under body coating for some sound deadening.. :D
