got it home and started looking
blown head gasket and piston rings are shot =-/ anyways it went past the 130 mph odometer lol after it got to about the 0 poof by bye biotch lol anyways that will be the fastest ive had the thing and the worst run ever he let off a bit so i shot her and she blew his doors off but after about 2 car lenights he passed me and well got oil and shit alllllll over his car lol lamo

those svt contours are pretty friggin quick cars...definetly has the potential to be a sleeper. Good luck with it...dont let people get ya down over it. Just make sure you keep up with the maintenance.
Oh..and ive heard the trans is weak in the contour when you start mixing HP and hard driving...

hmm, ive driven contours with the V6. personally, i was dissapointed. they are slower than my 3gee. maybe an SVO version would do it, but the 2.5 is a POS in my experiences. being that said, it would probably be cheaper in the long run to get a new engine for the accord then blow up a ford engine quickly. haha.

you are not going to wind out the speedometer past top speed back around to zero ,i don't give a crap if theres a stop pin or not. like everyone has said you have basically a stock engine,i have seen nothing in the way of pictures other then neon paint on the engine,and thats only good for ten horsepower. :slap: the car simply doesn't go that fast. you cannot make enough horsepower on this engine without major,and i mean major modifications. the only person on here that has ever gone that fast, would be johnny O,and he has the time slips and the pictures,as well as the car to back it up. you DO NOT have a street car equal to his drag car,no matter how much paint you slap on it. there is not another car on here that has any dream of going as fast as his car. So STFU quit making your self look like an ass,no wait you already blew your motor and did, and quit watching the fast and the curious movies,they are not real. and theres nothing wrong with our tachs,i have had two tachs for years and they have never been off from each other.

There are a few guys that could hit 130 around here. rjudgey could, you will be able to, ericw could, turbo'89 could, i'll be able to with a new worked engine, mykwikcoupe, legendmaster might be able to (i'm not sure of his mods).
All in all, an honest 30 people here would be able to hit 130 (assuming all "in progress" progects are finished). None of these members will have an engine even closely resembling a stock motor (barring epicenter, but hey, he's turbo).

Twoloudnproud went up to about 120mph on his and had to back off because of traffic, it still kept climbing. He says he hit 130 before.
