as far as springs fitting vs. coilovers, you are gonna have to make sure what the heights are. if the civic spring is taller than the accord spring, a civic lowering spring on an accord might not drop as much as you want, and if they are shorter you might get too much drop. and also, the accord is a heavier car than the civic. if the springs cant correctly support the weight of the car your ride will suck ass.

ive noticed that ksport makes a nice set but ive heard alot of bad things about ksport and d2 when it comes to reliabilty and durability thats the only reason im iffy on them

They're about that much on eBay, maybe a little cheaper. Unless you're talking about Illuminas.
you can modifier the civic struts to work.. i know a few members on here have done it.. 87roach is running skunk 2 ones for a civic i believe , and i "think" mushroom_toy has civic shocks as well
