I found a 1989 SSM LX-i coupe at the junkyard yesterday. 110k original miles. I'm going to get the rear trim, factory stereo deck and speakers, center tail light seal, and maybe more.
Stay tuned! If anyone even reads this, haha.

I'm reading it. Good luck!
I'm reading too. I think you're nuts going stock for the stereo, but it's your car.
I understand how useless they are, but I don't listen to music when I drive. Ever. Not even with people in my car.
Cup holders Wednesday, great thanks to Mike.
I'm so excited to have that trim back on, although it's Seattle Silver, not Misty Beige. :P

Yay, Charlie has broke to shit cup holders! Thanks, Mike! Again.
Ah yes, the BTS style cupholders. Can't go wrong there!
Thanks for selling shit on my update thread? haha
Off topic, but your name was in every thread subscription e-mail that i got today
I realized something like that would happen. I went to "today's posts" and my name was on the recent post for a dozen threads...
Well, Messy isn't around much... so somebody's gotta be the postwhore.
DAMN messy came from the dead. LOL how you been vato?
hey man...it was nice talking to you...we def need to set up a west coast meet
Not a Messy-Rendon conversation thread!
LOL.....o you got jacked son.
Anyway,
I need a project for my car because Mike isn't responding about the suspension. Something that will take up a lot of time, but not render my car unusable.
Ideas?
Or maybe just a life. I dunno.
Get a spare guage cluster and begin soldering. Not only will it help you learn a new skill, butyou can change colors up or whatever you want really.
Yay
Fresh paint on your wheels?
Out of that I plan on doing the engine bay. I don't really need/want to do anything else. I completely forgot about cleaning it, though. Thanks!
It sounds like a really good idea for me, but I don't have the tools to do that. I have soldered before, though. I remember my "cone" was perfect. :D
|D
They just need to be clearcoated, but they're so curbed I don't think it's worth it. Plus, removing wheels = no driving.
All you need is a flat tip and a phillips head to get the cluster out. Then go to radioshack and buy an $8 soldering iron, $3 worth of solder, and hop on ebay and buy some LED's for cheap.
