That wouldn't solve the problem with only one high beam coming on. If one comes on then the switch is fine. Possible you have a loose wire somewhere so check that. The combo switch just switches from low beam to high beam using a single connection for it. If you look at my how to there are 2 connections on a little plate, one for low beam and one for high.Quote:

and depending on what happens with my other car, will determine the future of this car, if i can get my grey one legal, i would try to make this one somewhat fast (stripping it down even more & adding engine mods :O). if the grey one fails to get anywhere, well then I'll (try to) restore this car. i also wanted to find out how rusty this thing was, turned out it wasnt as bad as i thought, just 4 holes, the rest is just surface rust :) but found a crap load of shitty wiring done at the front (not only by me either) this time i wanna do a proper job with this car, not crappy ones like in the past.
oh btw this thread is for the white vigor, i'll keep my grey accord in another thread :)

this car really needs one HELL of a clean :O
also converted it to auto (cause i took the manual box for my grey car) and converted it from efi to carb cause i lost the efi dizzy & the fuel rail was pissing fuel (no idea why?) so i tighten the nuts/bolts on them more, and snapped them. so on went the carb. now its slower than a stock b20 lol

wow i got the rest of the wiring done today, all lights, indicators, head lights, pop-up lights, wipers, horn all goes, bit of a mission to do when you have a really hacked loom. but now all that needs to be done is solder all connections & tidy it up with that plastic stuff that goes around wires to make it look oem. heres a couple pictures

indeed. im just waiting for mr.toyota to send me a bunch of heat shrink tubing so i can finish this loom
i just spent all day finishing all the whole loom. sat in the rain for a couple hours doing the exterior harness then got a lamp and stuck it in the car, so i could finish the interior loom, which i just spent most of the night doing. now it's complete, everything goes & all wires are secure, even added fog light wiring to the main loom yay

dunno should look the same as it did before with more gray patches (getting old i guess)
went for a wof today, failed on no split pins in the tie rod ends & ball joints, left front fog light, left front head light & a leaking brake line. fixed those went back and failed again (gay!!) failed on the steering rack, need to add p/s. i'll do that tomorrow and hopefully pass!!!!!
Well Split Pins Or Also Known as Cotter Pins should be easy to find, Just about any auto store has them

i tried to put a towbar on today but when it was on the car the muffler kept ratteling against it, which was very gay, so i went and installed it through the center of the windshield on that blue car :)
stuck a new interior in today, its $1000000000000000% better!!! the car is awesome now yay oh and installed a alarm too
