wait i was reading your perfromance chart and it says you have a custom strut bar for the back could you make one to for me i send the money if can

I didn't make the rear one but maybe after I have the front ones done I will contact the maker of it and he maybe will let me know how to make them. Well it depends how long it takes for everyone elses money to get to me. That's why kept saying to wait until I tell you to send the money. B/c I didn't want someone to wait very long.

Please let me know if you can't afford at least the deposit for now. I was woundering would it really fit with the civic adapter i think it would be close shit i hope it fits mike any way can i get mine then i can post pics to if can. :)

I have to wait until other people pay. It's a group buy. I didn't really want people to pay until the 17th but since you paid I didn't want you to wait too long to get your strut bar.

Yeah it will. I'm just glad I can help you guys out by finally getting some cool stuff for the carbed accords too. Gotta represent! Even though the strut bar works for FI it was intended for just the carbed one.

Alright I think I will just forget the people that haven't contacted me. I have 11 people now and I will talk with my supplier Monday and will hopefully have all the stuff for me to make them that week and have them shipped out. For those of you that have paid just the deposit I will need the rest of the money before I ship them out to you.

I believe I gave some people advice while I was on vacation (namely 86 accord in C.P.) and had not seen how your strut bar mounted. I basically said it would not work because I thought it would go over the intake, which is just below the hood line. Looking at your pictures and mine I say there is a chance based on the fact that it goes over the EGR diagphram, but I have slight concerns. The throttle cable bracket and secondary diagphram may be deal breakers though. The intake pipe would also have to be angled towards the firewall.

Well you really don't need that erg black box if you have a custom intake on the stock carb, since nothing is hooked up to it. And if I were to have a CAI I could still make it work with that intake. All it takes is the will and a little know how. And I know for sure that it fits on FI accords. I know that b/c I have matched everything up and I have a friend that put it on his LX-i.

Well I was just saying that if you have an adapter like that then you wouldn't need that box and that is the only thing in the way of the strut bar. (It might work with it on, but you don't need that box anyways and it looks much cooler without it) I didn't try to fit the bar on with the box, b/c I didn't want the box and I threw it away. And mindlos I have to say your car has come a long way since I saw it.

Do you have pictures of it on a stock LX-i? I was wondering how it looked =)

I don't b/c that person didn't want me to post pics of his car. I will have someone that bought one from the first group buy post pics of it on their FI 3G though. I know carotman might b/c I think he has access to a digicam and he has a FI 3G.

True dat. Any I really havent done that much to it. Next I need headers and good exhaust system. That damn rust around the wheel well breaks my heart though.

Here's the latest info. I have been emailing my supplier daily and finally last night he replied and then I paid him the money for all the materials I would need for 14 strut bars (I will have 3 extra bars, I plan to use maybe two to barter so I can get parts from 2 members on the board) Keep checking this thread for new information regarding how the bars are coming. I will let you know the second I get the materials and the second I get them done. And I will take a whole day off to make all of them so I can hopefully ship them out the same or day after I get the materials. (Only for the people that Paid In Full that is, the others will have to wait until I get the rest of the money) I know this group buy is taking a little long but it will be definately worth it once you get your strut bar. When you guys install them put washers between the nuts and bracket just for correct install.

any chance of you telling me what bar you made that from...

I won't pay $75, but I would like to make my own...

please tell me... or I may be forced to buy a bunch of them, figure out which one will work the best and return the others...

Umm well you first need to have a aircraft in your backyard and then cut some metal off of it and then take tons of measurements and then start making everything. That's all I can tell you. You see if I were to tell you everything, I wouldn't have much of a business now would I?
